Strong Roots Foundation is a non-profit organization established on Saba, Caribbean Netherlands, dedicated to strengthening social resilience, equality, and social participation.
The foundation focuses on empowering individuals and communities through personal development, leadership, and self-reliance, with particular attention to residents of Saba and the wider Caribbean region. Strong Roots actively contributes to the prevention of social inequality, dependency, and exclusion, and promotes awareness, education, and empowerment across social, economic, and societal domains.
Through community-based programs, workshops, and partnerships with public institutions, NGOs, and international partners, Strong Roots develops and implements initiatives that support a safe, inclusive, and resilient society. Core focus areas include women’s empowerment, youth development, elder support, and safeguarding initiatives related to domestic violence and child protection.
Strong Roots Foundation operates in alignment with local, regional, and international social policy objectives and is committed to long-term, sustainable impact.
